American't is Jon Bennett's latest comedic storytelling show, where he recounts the absurd and chaotic journey of trying to make the U.S. his home. After spending over a decade traveling the world with his shows, Bennett was forced back to his roots in rural Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Living once again with his conservative, religious family for over a year and a half, he faced a dramatic shift from his nomadic lifestyle.

Join authors Megan England, Jenna Fribley, and Madeline McGraw for an introduction to their new work, the Historic Atlas of Springfield, Oregon. This upcoming book takes readers on a journey through Springfield’s highs, when it was known as “Lunch Bucket City” and was the nation’s top lumber producer, and its lows, when fires and floods devastated Springfield’s underserved communities and Main Street declined in the 1970s.

This unique Hurdy Gurdy and Piano Duo, comprised of Marc Egea of Catalonia, Spain and Paul Safar of Eugene, Oregon will present an eclectic mix of original, traditional, classical and contemporary music. Their set includes compositions of Catalan composer Mompou, American Jazz Standards, free improvisation and rock classics all on piano and this unusual and ancient stringed instrument.
