    We’re thrilled to have Jasmin Savoy Brown, one of the stars, joining us via zoom to discuss the film.  A Springfield High School graduate, Jasmin has been making splashes on both the big screen and the hit TV series Yellowjackets.

  • Riverside Chamber Symphony

    Wildish Community Theater 630 Main Street, Springfield, OR, United States

    On Thursday November 14, at 7:30 the Riverside Chamber
    Symphony will present a concert in the Wildish
    Community Theater in Springfield, with music by Dvorak and
    Beethoven, led by Conductor Philip Bayles, and Associate
    Conductor Jared Fischer. Jared Fischer will lead the ensemble
    in selections from Dvorak's Legends, colorful and energetic
    pieces that explore a myriad of varieties of textures from the
    orchestra. Bayles will conduct Beethoven's Symphony Eight, a
    work that looks back to the classical period and looks forward
    to the romantic era. Although somewhat shorter than the other
    symphonies, it is thought to be one of Beethoven's favorites.

    The concert is free, with open seating and a
    suggested donation of $10.

    Springfield Rotary Charitable Foundation and the Emerald Art Center are hosting the 6th annual Springfield Mayor’s Revue on November 15, 2024. Join us for a scintillating evening filled with appetizers, your favorite drink, and the sounds of award-winning blues vocalist, instrumentalist and songwriter Curtis Salgado! It is all part of an event to celebrate our amazing city, the arts, and local Rotary projects.

    Each "Event" ticket includes a hosted reception at the Emerald Art Center on Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. with drinks and appetizers, immediately followed by a benefit concert at the Richard E. Wildish Community Theatre. Blind Billy Blue & The Hot Blue Suns will open the show. Our PNW Blues icon Curtis Salgado will headline the impressive lineup.

    We are also offering four incredible baskets for raffle, each containing a variety of gift cards and items for adventures, restaurants, and other exciting prizes, valued at approximately $1200 each! Imagine yourself golfing at Three Rivers Casino while spending the night in Florence. Or pedaling around the city on an electric bicycle from Pedego.
