DESCRIPTION:A 3-day vocal festival\, June 13th-15th in Springfield\, OR. Centering the body and voice as instruments for collective liberation.\n\n\n\nAmidst the rise of fascism\, oligarchy\, emboldened white-supremacy and record-breaking anti-trans legislations\, Queer Choir Collective holds fast to the belief that "the role of the artist is to make the revolution irresistible" (Toni Cade Bambara). It is from this ethos that we present:\n\nSing the Body: Queer Vocal Festival -  a celebration of 2SLGBTQIA+ and Global Majority voices\, using song as a tool for connection\, resistance\, and igniting collective power.\n\nWHO: YOU!!!\n\nWHAT: Sing the Body invites queer singers and co-conspirators of all levels into an immersive experience of workshops and community singing\, with a pinnacle concert featuring an epic line-up of vocal artists and ensemble.\nWHERE: The majority of the festival events take place at The Wildish Theater in Springfield\, OR.
