DESCRIPTION:Tickets\n \n \n	\n\n	Sunday\, June 14\, 2026 • 3:00 p.m.\nMonday\, June 15\, 2026 • 7:30 p.m.\nPre-concert talk by Dr. Terry McQuilkin:\nSunday 2:15 p.m. • Monday 6:45 p.m \nChamber Music Amici closes its 2025-26 season with Master Works\, a program pairing two cornerstones of the chamber music repertoire: Wolfgang Amadeus\nMozart's Piano Trio No. 5 in C Major\, K. 548\, and Maurice Ravel's Piano Trio in A Minor\, M. 67. \nThe program features Chamber Music Amici's three core members: Artistic Director Eunhye\nGrace Choi on piano\, Tomás Cotik on violin\, and Steven Pologe on cello. Both works are scored\nfor piano\, violin\, and cello\, and each puts the full expressive range of the ensemble on display. \nComposed in 1788\, Mozart's Piano Trio No. 5 in C Major is a landmark of classical chamber\nwriting\, marked by elegance\, clarity\, and the easy conversational interplay that defines his\nmature style. Ravel's Piano Trio in A Minor\, completed in 1914\, draws on Basque folk rhythms\,\nexotic poetic forms\, and shimmering orchestral colors to create one of the great works of\ntwentieth-century chamber music. Together\, the two trios offer audiences a vivid portrait of\nthe form across more than a century of musical evolution.
