    Delgani String Quartet opens their 10th season with A World of Music, a unique program of music and dance that features composers from around the world and celebrates our shared humanity. The program marks Delgani’s 10-year milestone by showcasing the quartet’s commitment to new music and interdisciplinary collaboration, interwoven with a quartet of dancers choreographed by Eugene Ballet’s Sara Stockwell. Following the departure of longtime violist Kimberlee Uwate, Delgani is excited to welcome Oregon Symphony’s Amanda Grimm as guest violist for A World of Music. The program also features Executive Director and founding member Wyatt True’s return to the stage on viola for Dvorak’s Quintet, Op 97. Don't miss this celebratory performance!

The artists of Round The Globe have an expressed intention to appreciate cultural differences, and to respect that despite our differences, our shared humanity unites us in a mindful manner. Artistic expression through film and music can be the conduit to connect and unite us in oneness. The festival highlight the winners in short films, music videos, and original songs that address resilience, sustainability, and other areas of human interest. Submissions are received from all around the world and are represented in this exciting international event.

    Join the Springfield Public Library for a free showing of the 2022 reboot of Scream at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 13th at the Wildish Community Theater in downtown Springfield.

    We’re thrilled to have Jasmin Savoy Brown, one of the stars, joining us via zoom to discuss the film.  A Springfield High School graduate, Jasmin has been making splashes on both the big screen and the hit TV series Yellowjackets.

  • Riverside Chamber Symphony

    Wildish Community Theater 630 Main Street, Springfield, OR, United States

    On Thursday November 14, at 7:30 the Riverside Chamber
    Symphony will present a concert in the Wildish
    Community Theater in Springfield, with music by Dvorak and
    Beethoven, led by Conductor Philip Bayles, and Associate
    Conductor Jared Fischer. Jared Fischer will lead the ensemble
    in selections from Dvorak's Legends, colorful and energetic
    pieces that explore a myriad of varieties of textures from the
    orchestra. Bayles will conduct Beethoven's Symphony Eight, a
    work that looks back to the classical period and looks forward
    to the romantic era. Although somewhat shorter than the other
    symphonies, it is thought to be one of Beethoven's favorites.

    The concert is free, with open seating and a
    suggested donation of $10.
