Springfield’s biggest night for the arts is back! The Springfield Arts and Culture Awards (SACA) is an annual celebration honoring the artists, visionaries, and organizations that make our city a thriving cultural hub. From breathtaking visual arts to soul-stirring performances, this event is our community’s own Grammy Awards—a night where creativity shines and excellence is recognized.

Each season, our studio chooses a worthy individual or organization in our community as the beneficiary of the proceeds of this concert experience. Service to others is a hallmark of our studio and this allows our dancers to use their artistry to support those in need.

🎶 A3’s Fourth Annual Music & Dance Concert Thursday & Friday, April 25–26, 2024 | 7:00 PM Presented by the Academy of Arts and Academics (A3) Step into the sights and sounds of the 1960s as 46 high school performers from A3 take the Wildish stage for an evening of song, dance, and immersive storytelling

Rose Children's Theatre presents Alice in Wonderland Jr. at The Richard E. Wildish Community Theater, 630 Main St. Springfield, OR.

Fall down the rabbit hole with Alice as she navigates the curious world of Wonderland on her journey of self-discovery. Along her adventure, Alice encounters the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter, a temperamental Queen, and many more beloved Wonderland characters in this charming updated retelling of the classic Lewis Carroll stories. Adapted especially for young performers, the musical includes favorite songs from the Disney canon such as “I’m Late,” “The Unbirthday Song,” and “Painting the Roses Red,” in addition to music from the 2010 Tim Burton live-action film. Whether this is your first experience with Alice or your hundredth, you’ll lose your head (and your heart) for Alice in Wonderland JR.!

About the movie:
Robert and Alfred are both talented magicians plying their trade in 19th Century London. Soon, they become bitter rivals when Robert’s wife dies during a stage performance and blames Alfred for her death. Now both magicians escalate their feud by raising the risks of their opposing magic shows and sabotaging each other at every turn. Starring a superstar packed cast of Hugh Jackman, Scarlet Johansson, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Andy Serkis and David Bowie, this slick arcane thriller is one of Christopher Nolen’s unsung gems.

Join the Eugene Gleemen as we share "Songs We Love To Sing" on Saturday, May 17 at The Wildish Theater in downtown Springfield. We'll also be joined on stage with special guests--the Eugene Gay Men's Chorus!

Inspired by real events, this hauntingly beautiful work follows Eliza, a woman desperate to break free from the constraints of her polygamous sect, as she navigates love, loss, and the price of self-discovery.
